We may be a community centre but The Poppleton Centre Sports Hall makes an ideal and economic venue for business activities.

As a sports hall it’s ideal for indoor team games such as 5-a-side football, for team building activities and for training sessions.

Transformed  into a stylish indoor marquee it becomes perfect for large meetings, presentations, conferences or large gatherings of any kind.

The Hall accommodates 200-250 people. The Centre has ten 5ft circular tables which can accommodate between 6 and 10 people per table depending on place settings. The Hall itself can accommodate up to 20x6ft tables, again depending on floor plan . The overall size is 22.5m x 16.5m. The Hall also makes an ideal auditorium and seating can be provided for up to 250, together with staging.

The Hall links to the rest of the Centre and can be hired in conjunction with the Maypole and Dodsworth Rooms  which can include a fully licenced bar.  These also make excellent seminar breakout rooms.

Catering can be undertaken using the Centre kitchen and outdoor caterers frequently provide delicious food to satisfy every style of event and taste.
